It comes with the territory
If you don't clean up after your dog, you have to watch where you step.

I used the above analog during a discussion I was having with a friend.

She asked me if she attracted all this negative stuff (not her word) because she's been watching the Secret, so now everything that's happened to her, she's blaming on herself (she could take credit or responsibility, but that's another story for another time).

I explained that although we do attract things and situations that are like what we're thinking... those things come with their own baggage. We bring in something for its main purpose, and a whole slew of residual 'lessons' come with them.

Some things we attract, while other things we allow to come in. They're the same, yet different in many subtle (and not so subtle) ways.

So basically it's like this. We attract other people into our lives, they attract their 'stuff' and often times we get caught up in their 'stuff.' Did we attract their stuff? Well, sorta... but well sorta not.

It comes with the territory.

Being able to discern your stuff from the other stuff helps a lot too.

Not so you can blame someone else for their stuff, but rather so you know which is which... and so you can keep your shoes clean...

...if you know what I mean.

Above average
It's the average that makes it above average.

Something important to keep in mind...

When you have a bad day, or even a very blah, boring, nothing of a day... if you have an extraordinary evening, the average of the day is 'awesome.'

Don't give up too early... it wastes hours that can be life altering.

I live for my evenings.

Some days.

Pass it On Premiere
"You!" he shouted in my direction, "get down that red carpet!" Dave Corbin, the executive producer on Pass it On smiled and me and told me that I belonged in the group as much as any of the stars of the film. I knew that meant giving up my prime spot for getting video footage... but the game is a much better experience when you're not sitting on the bench.

It was hot and crowded as we waited for celebrities from the Secret and CEOs of mega-corporations sauntered up to Robin Leach for their interview. I just stood by quietly, smiled and befriended everyone else who waited patiently for their time in the spotlight.

It's been such an amazing ride to arrive at this place. It was only in November of last year that I was invited to film's inaugural party. Who knew that it would fulfil my declaration in the Law of Attraction on so many levels... from going to John Assaraf's house to be considered a friend by a number of them.

Even though my accomplished goal of being in the film ended up on the cutting room floor, I had the thrill of seeing first hand how the process of manifestation is done (now, for the record I have manifested many things over my lifetime, but always under some other name... so this experience was like driving a luxury sports car after driving my beatup truck over 100,000 miles).

The premiere evening continued to manifest extraordinary events. As it would turn out... a woman I walked down the red carpet was one of the media guests at an event in Los Angeles I attended two days later (that is the LoA at its finest). I also met up with people whom I only knew from the internet and shared ideas that will blossom into new ventures.

And I got more pictures of me with these tremendous people.

About the Movie

Pass It On described as Pay it Forward meets the Secret, and for very good reason. It's principled on the concept of mentoring and it's cast is full of the great mentors of our times. There are Secret folk - Rev Michael Beckwith, John Assaraf, Denis Waitley - alongside Senators, CEOs and Celebrities. It's a Who's Who of the people I envisioned meeting one year ago.

Busy beelines
April has been a busy time for me. You probably noticed the scarcity of material, didn't you?

Well I've just been having so much going on outside (and inside) that I've hardly had time to myself. Seems every day had something else... a project here, and event there. On average, it's been awesome... some too awesome to say right now.

Let's just say that whatever happens, it'll all be for the best.

April was also a time to reconnect and remember what is most important. My mom told me not to get her anything for her birthday, so when I surprised her at the door for her 80th birthday celebration, I came empty-handed. She was so surprised that she was speechless up until the time she couldn't stop talking about it.

And so I'm stopping by to reconnect to you here as well. There's still several more events coming up, including the big one in Las Vegas in two weeks... so if I'm a bit quiet over here, just know that I'm thinking of you... and will be back as soon as I can.

Keep the light on!
